Biography

Kendall Bumbera has just began her racing career and already has the statistics of a champion in the making. In 2007 at the young age of 14 she took to the track with steadfast determination. Her goal was to drive as well as her older sister Kristin, who was already making history on the racetrack and was well on her way to a career in NASCAR. Kendall did everything she set out to do her first season and was awarded the 2007 Rookie of the Year Award in the Houston Motorsports Park Pro Stock Division.

Bumbera competed part time in the Pro Stock Division again in 2008 and continued to add more top 10 finishes to her resume. Over the winter she made the transition up to late model stock cars, the touring Texas Super Racing Series. The TSRS boasts the best drivers in the state of Texas – who combined own 22 series and track championships and 4 rookie of the year titles including Kendall’s.

As the only female competitor against 34 men she beat all the odds to win another Rookie of the Year title at the age of 16. She finished her first year in late models with 1 top 5, 8 top 10 finishes and 1 hard charger award.
